Agape Women’s Recovery House: Empowering Women in Sobriety
Realizing you need help is the first step towards your sobriety, and our trusted, experienced, and compassionate support staff at Agape Women’s Recovery House are here to guide you every step of the way. Our women-only sober living program provides a safe, nurturing, and structured environment designed to empower women in their journey toward lasting recovery. Tailored to address the unique challenges women face in addiction and recovery, our program fosters accountability, personal growth, and a strong sense of community, helping you build a fulfilling, sober life.
A Supportive and Structured Environment
Agape Women’s Recovery House offers a gender-specific program that promotes healing and accountability in a secure, substance-free setting. Our progressive transition system gradually increases independence while maintaining oversight, ensuring you stay on track. Key features include:
-
Personalized Structure: Residents follow tailored schedules with curfews, regular drug and alcohol screenings, and mandatory participation in recovery activities like 12-step meetings, in-house recovery coaching, and resident gatherings.
-
Gradual Independence: Personal cell phones are permitted, and after an initial adjustment period (typically 4-6 weeks), residents may use personal vehicles for essential activities like work or outpatient services. During this time, we provide transportation to 12-step meetings, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), therapy, psychiatry appointments, doctor visits, and grocery shopping.
-
Buddy System: For the first 30 days, new residents are paired with senior residents for mentorship and added support, fostering a sense of connection and accountability.
Our modern amenities—WiFi, exercise facilities, a pool, and parking—create a comfortable and secure gated community, enhancing your sober living experience while promoting responsibility and self-sufficiency.
Building a Strong Community
At Agape Women’s Recovery House, community is at the heart of recovery. Our residents live in modern, comfortable apartments in a serene suburban setting, surrounded by women who share the same journey. This sisterhood fosters meaningful connections, helping you feel supported and understood. Our 24/7 staff provides continuous guidance through recovery coaching, family and sponsor communication, and transportation to meetings and events. Senior residents mentor newcomers, creating an “extended family” atmosphere that strengthens internal accountability.
To encourage bonding and fun, we organize monthly outings such as white water rafting, visits to Zoo Atlanta, The High Museum of Art, haunted house tours, bowling, or escape rooms. These activities provide opportunities to build lasting friendships and create joyful memories in sobriety.
Holistic Support for Lasting Recovery
Our recovery-focused approach is led by staff who have walked the path of recovery themselves, offering empathy and expertise to guide you through early sobriety. We tailor support to meet your individual needs within the structure of our program, ensuring you have the tools to succeed. From personalized therapy and nutritional guidance to opportunities for yoga and community engagement, we address every aspect of your well-being.
